about rochelle
Rochelle has over ten years of business development, technology, marketing, and communications experience.
An experienced professional and dedicated community leader, she's worked with corporate, government, and nonprofit clients to enhance their strategic business model, reach new clients, and improve efficiency.
Rochelle has led organizations using deep industry-specific expertise, specifically small businesses, restaurant, entertainment, nonprofit, and real estate industries. Working to enhance the traditional business model has involved evaluating funding sources, assessing the competitive environment, providing innovative technology, and researching market trends. She’s developed, recommended, and implemented business improvements while working with key executives to ensure the strategic vision and organizational goals were achieved.
Being the child of entrepreneurial parents and an entrepreneur herself, Rochelle's been able to combine education with real hands-on experience to lead customers to increased visibility, sales, and profit.
While previously working as an Online Communications Strategist, Rochelle realized that most of her time was spent helping clients use technology to enhance their existing business model. Developing a strong online plan – audience analysis, messaging, branding, public relations, and strategic planning – involved business development as much as technology.
She specialized in strategic planning, original web design, database and application development, programming, content creation, online marketing, web analytics, and search engine optimization, social networking, online community building, blogging and blogger outreach. Her clients have included AOL, The Washington Post, The White House, Futures Group, Northern Virginia Community College, FEMA, and the Children's Defense Fund to name a few.
Rochelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies with a minor in Business Management from the University of Maryland.
